LivOn – Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C

Standard oral vitamin C has a hard ceiling. Intestinal absorption depends on sodium-dependent transporters that saturate rapidly — above roughly 200mg per dose, bioavailability drops steeply and the excess is excreted. Liposomal encapsulation bypasses this entirely. The ascorbate is wrapped in phospholipid vesicles that are taken up via endocytosis, the same mechanism cells use to internalise nutrients directly — no transporter competition, no ceiling.

Directions

Snip the notched end off the sachet. Squeeze contents into 30–90ml of a cool beverage — not hot, as heat degrades the liposomes. Consume in one swallow. Take 1–2 sachets per day with or without food. Do not freeze.

Why we stock it

The case for liposomal over standard oral vitamin C is straightforward: the transporter system that absorbs ascorbate in the gut saturates quickly, and no amount of megadosing overcomes that ceiling without GI consequences. Liposomal encapsulation sidesteps the problem entirely. The phosphatidylcholine fraction — 500mg per sachet — is also independently valuable as a choline source and structural phospholipid.
